Which celebrity couples have disturbing age gaps?

Hi.

I have never, and will never, judge someone for dating someone much younger or older than them.

The disturbing thing, in my opinion, is not their age gaps, but the fact that people find this disturbing, and get triggered by someone who they never met dating someone older or younger than them.

If they’re in love and are both of legal age, let them be happy.

What made me aware that these types of relationships are frowned upon was what happened to Florence Pugh.

Florence is an actress known for MidsommarLittle Women (which earned her an Oscar nomination) and the upcoming Black Widow.

She is currently 25 years old and her boyfriend Zach Braff is 46.

Last year she made a cute post on her Instagram to celebrate his birthday:

What was meant to be a celebration of their love, friendship, and happiness turned into a sad and depressing situation because people had a problem with them being 21 years apart.

The comments got so bad that Florence had to speak her mind in a video she posted on her page:

On Monday I posted a photo in honour of Zach’s birthday, and I wrote a birthday message underneath.

Within about eight minutes of the photo being posted I had about 70% of the comments hurling abuse and being horrid, and basically bullying someone on my page.

It is the first time in my entire Instagram life that I’ve had to turn off the comments on my page, I have never been an Instagram page that encourages that, I have never been an Instagram page that likes that toxic vibe.

I have only been an Instagram page that tries to bring some light and tries to be positive, and tries to make people smile.

I will not allow that behavior on my page, I’m not about that. It makes me upset and it makes me sad that during this time when we really all need to be together, we need to be supporting one another, we need to be loving one another, the world is aching and the world is dying and a few of you decided to bully for no reason.

I’m 24 years old, I have been working since I was 17-years-old, I have been earning money since I was 17-years-old, I became an adult when I was 18-years-old and I started paying taxes when I was 18-years-old.

I’ll underline this fact, I am 24-years-old.

I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love, and I would never in my life ever tell anyone who they can and cannot love.

It is not your place and it really has nothing to do with you.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that with all the information we get daily and the horrible things that need to change in the world, people take the time to be offended by someone’s happiness.

I also find it ridiculous that people who say things like “find the person who treats you like a queen/king”, and “love yourself”, and “you gotta find the right man/woman”, don’t seem to understand that Florence found the man that treats her like a queen and she’s loving herself by loving and being loved by him.

They’re happy together, they’re there for each other, and they have a loving relationship.

As long as your both over 18, age is just a number. What matters is if your both with someone that makes life worth living.

Thank you for reading.
